I love to read

I finally decided that it is in my best interest to head to the local library. So, I went straight to the information desk and filled out the necessary paperwork for a library card. In the online catalog I found an entire section dedicated to mathematics, and naturally it consumed all my free time just looking for a book. Continuing with Ian Stewart's works, I chose Why Beauty is Truth: A History of Symmetry.

I'm only four chapters in at this point, but it's turning out to be a more thorough review of MA 484 - History of Mathematical Thought. There have been a lot of names thrown around, many of which I don't recognize, but the names I do recall are crucial to the story line. For example, the soap-opera scene amongst Tartaglia, Cardano, and Ferrari.
